About the Camera Fundamental Workshop?
The Camera Fundamentals Workshop is a practical, intensive training designed to help you understand your camera and use it with confidence.
You'll learn the essential camera settings, operating principles, and techniques professional photographers use every day to create sharp, properly exposed, and visually compelling images.
This is more than a classroom session—you'll practice what you learn, receive expert guidance, and get direct feedback to help you immediately improve your photography.
Workshop Structure:
Session 1: (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
Understanding Your Camera
Build confidence by understanding the essential buttons, dials, menus, and functions.
Camera Settings
Learn how to configure your camera settings to achieve optimal image quality: white balance, profile settings and file format
Exposure
Understand the concept of Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO and learn how to combine them to achieve proper exposure.
Break (12:15PM – 1:00PM)
Stretch, refresh, and connect with other participants.
Session 2: (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM)
Focusing
use effective focusing techniques and focus point to consistently achieve sharp photographs.
Basic Composition Techniques:
Discover how to direct your viewer’s attention, proper subject placement, through effective framing and composition, to create visual balance and communicate a clear story.
FULL PRACTICAL: (3:00 PM – 4:00 PM)
Students operate their cameras, change settings, shot at different lighting conditions to master exposure.
Workshop Outcome:
By the end of this workshop, you'll be able to confidently use your camera to capture well-exposed, sharp, and beautiful photographs in different environments.
