The Camera Fundamentals Workshop is a practical, intensive training designed to help you understand your camera and use it with confidence.

You'll learn the essential camera settings, operating principles, and techniques professional photographers use every day to create sharp, properly exposed, and visually compelling images.

This is more than a classroom session—you'll practice what you learn, receive expert guidance, and get direct feedback to help you immediately improve your photography.

Workshop Structure:

Session 1 (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM)

Understanding Your Camera

Build a strong foundation by learning how your camera works, confidently navigating its controls, understanding the essential menu settings, and knowing when to use different shooting modes.


Exposure Mastery

Take full control of your camera by mastering the three essential exposure settings—Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO—and learn how to achieve well-exposed images in different lighting conditions.


Short Break (12:00PM – 12:15PM)

  • Stretch, refresh, and connect with other participants.


Session 2 (12:15PM – 2:30PM)

Image Quality & Color Settings

Discover the settings that improve image quality and produce accurate, consistent colors, including RAW vs. JPEG, Picture Profile settings, White Balance, and White Balance Adjustment.


Basic Framing & Composition Techniques

Learn simple yet powerful shot types composition principles that will help you create more balanced, visually appealing, and impactful photographs.


Focus & Sharpness

Master your camera's focusing system so you can consistently capture sharp, well-focused images, even in challenging shooting situations.
