What Is The Professional Photography Bootcamp?
The Professional Photography Bootcamp is a 2-week intensive, hands-on training program designed for beginners and intermediate photographers who want to master their camera, understand lighting, shoot with confidence, and edit professional-quality images.
Beyond the training, you'll receive 30 days of hybrid post-training support, giving you the opportunity to come back to the studio to build a portfolio keep practicing, ask questions, receive personalized feedback, and refine your skills with expert guidance.
By The End of This Bootcamp, You Will:
- You'll confidently use your camera in any situation and know the right settings to capture well-exposed photos consistently.
- You'll develop a creative eye, learning how to shoot with purpose and create images that tell powerful stories.

Training Curriculum:
Day 1–2: Camera Mastery & Lenses
This module helps you build a strong technical foundation and helps you confidently control your camera to achieve consistent, professional results.
Core topics to be coverd:
- Camera functions & menu navigation
- The exposure triangle: aperture, shutter, ISO
- Lens types & how to choose the right one
- Focus techniques & image sharpness
- Depth of field, used creatively
- Dynamic range & protecting your highlights/shadows
Module Outcome:
By the end of this module, you will confidently operate your camera in Manual Mode, select the right lens for different situations, achieve accurate exposure, and create sharp, professional-quality images with intention rather than guesswork.
Day 3: Visual Storytelling & Composition
A photo that's technically correct can still say nothing. This module is about making images that communicate.
Core topics to be coverd:
- Framing (Shot types) & Composition Techniques
- Visual Elements & Principles of Photography
- Camera Angles and Perspective
- Color Theory & Visual Impact
Module Outcome:
By the end of this module, you will compose with intention and build images that carry mood and story, not just subject matter.
Day 4-5: Principles of Lighting
Light is the foundation of photography. In this module, you'll learn to shape light and create mood — then apply it on a live shoot with real models.

- How light behaves — source & characteristics
- Hard vs. soft lighting techniques
- Lighting modifiers & their functions
- Natural light in changing conditions
- Studio setups & three-point lighting
- Continuous light, flash & creative lighting
- Live shoot: directing models & posing
Module Outcome:
You will build a professional lighting setup from scratch, direct a real subject, and shoot portrait, beauty, and fashion work with control.
Day 6: Full-Day Student Practical Shoot:
Photography is mastered through practice. This full-day hands-on session gives you the opportunity to apply everything you have learned in a real creative shooting environment under professional guidance.
- Working with real models
- Lighting setup, control & modification, live
- A real shoot workflow, start to finish
Practical Outcome:
You will run a real shoot with real stakes, and walk away with confidence behind the camera, not just theory in your head.
Day 7-9: Professional Editing & Retouching
A great photograph does not end when you press the shutter. In this module, you will learn how professional photographers refine, enhance, and transform their images through a structured editing and retouching workflow that turns raw files into client-ready images.

- Image selection & culling methods
- RAW processing for max quality
- Color correction & color grading
- Retouching that stays natural, not plastic
- AI-powered editing tools, used right
- Finishing images for clients & portfolios
Module outcome:
You will be able to do a complete, repeatable editing workflow that turns your raw shots into polished, portfolio-grade images every time.
Day 10: Business of Photography
Photography is also a business. This is the day that turns your new skill into income.
Core topics to be coverd:
- Pricing & packaging your services
- Branding & positioning yourself
- Marketing & attracting clients
- Contracts, invoicing & policies
- Building a long-term photography career
Module Outcome:
At the end of the day, you will be able to price your work with confidence, present yourself like a professional, and go after your first paying client.
HIGHLIGHT FROM OUR PAST CLASS
AFTER THE BOOTCAMP — 30 DAYS HYBRID CLASS SUPPORT (August)
Many training programs end after the last class. We don't. Photography skills grow through consistent practice. That's why we provide 30 days of hybrid class support after the bootcamp to help you keep practicing, receive feedback, and continue improving with clear guidance.
1. Guided Studio Practice
- You will Return to the studio in small groups for up to 4 supervised practice sessions. You'll continue working with lighting setups and creative photography techniques while receiving direct feedback from your instructor. This hands-on practice will help you build a portfolio with at least 5 professionally edited images in different photography styles that you can confidently show to potential clients.
2. Community Access
You will be added to our dedicated WhatsApp learning community where you can:
- Ask questions and get answers from your instructors
- Receive photography tips and learning resources
- Connect, collaborate, and grow with fellow photographers
3. Weekly Portfolio Reviews
- You will attend 4 scheduled online review sessions via zoom/google meet during the support period.
- You'll submit your work for professional feedback, learn how to improve your images, and gain valuable insights from the reviews and feedback given to other students as well.
The goal is simple: to help you keep practicing, keep improving, and build the confidence to grow as a professional photographer long after the bootcamp ends.
Bonus: Internship & Mentorship Program
3 top-performing students from this cohort will be selected to participate in our 5-month internship and mentorship support program. I'm a complete beginner. Is this too advanced for me?
No — this bootcamp is built for beginners first. Day 1 assumes no prior knowledge and starts from how your camera actually works. Intermediate photographers get just as much value refining technique and filling skill gaps they've never had explained clearly.

Can I begin to shoot confidently after 30 days?
Yes. Our training is structured to help you learn faster than the typical trial-and-error approach. With step-by-step lessons, practical assignments, and feedback from an experienced facilitator, most students begin producing professional-looking images within the first two weeks and gain the confidence to handle shoots within 30 days—provided they consistently follow the training and practice.
Why should I pay for this instead of learning free on YouTube?
YouTube gives you scattered pieces. This gives you a sequence — built specifically so each day builds on the last — plus hands-on correction in real time, real studio practice with real models, and 30 days of accountability after. Most people don't lack information; they lack structure and feedback. That's what this provides.
Is the ₦150,000 rate a one-time discount?
Yes — it's limited to the first 10 seats of this cohort. Once those are filled, the remaining 10 seats are at the full ₦200,000 rate.
I don't own a camera or laptop. Can I still join?
Yes. You can borrow or rent your own, or we can arrange a camera and laptop for you at ₦15,000/day each, for use on the training premises.
Will I get a Certificate After the training?
Yes, you will received a certificate upon completion.
Will I actually be able to get paid clients after this?
The bootcamp includes a full business day covering pricing, branding, marketing, and contracts — plus 30 days of post-class support to help you apply it. We can't promise clients on a fixed timeline, but you'll leave with the skills, portfolio, and business foundation to start pursuing them immediately.
Can I pay in installments?
We currently only accept full payment registration to ensure smooth planning and commitment from all students.
